We are very glad to inform to you that our skill training programme is going on. 100 women are benefiting in this programme. This project has provided a vocational skills & entrepreneurship development programme to 100 rural women and adolescent girls in Usilampatti block, Madurai District, Tamilnadu, India. The project beneficiaries have been selected from 5 villages of Usilampatti. The beneficiaries are dalit, disadvantaged rural women and young girls. Specifically they are young girls who have dropped out of school in the age range of 15 to 19 and rural women with limited or no formal education in the age range of 20 to 40. The rural women and girls need to get some sort of vocational training in rural areas. They did not get an opportunity. But now, after the trainings, our trainees are entrepreneurs. It will lead to sustainable employment.
