Educational Need 86 Children Kalimpong West Bengal

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous donor who contributed $10 towards the education of Diksha, a bright and determined 2^nd grade student at Seventh-day Adventist School, Kalimpong.

Diksha’s family fled their earthquake-stricken village in Nepal and settled in Kalimpong. Her father, a daily laborer, spends most of his earnings on alcohol, leaving the family in hardship. Her mother, despite financial struggles, is determined to educate Diksha.

Thanks to the $10 contribution, Diksha received essential school supplies—such as notebooks, pens, and basic learning materials—that have enabled her to continue her studies with renewed confidence and dignity. This support has lightened the burden on her family and reminded Diksha that there are kind-hearted people who believe in her potential.

She continues to attend school with hope in her heart and dreams of going further—but she still needs a sponsor who can walk alongside her in her educational journey.
