Jenisha’s parents came to Kalimpong from Nepal in search of a better life. Her father worked tirelessly as a laborer at a construction site until a serious leg injury left him unable to do strenuous work. Despite the pain, he still takes on odd jobs whenever possible to support his family.
Her mother works as a domestic helper in the neighborhood, washing clothes and cleaning dishes. Together, they struggle to make ends meet—but their greatest dream is to educate their only daughter, Jenisha, so she can become a teacher and uplift others.
Jenisha is a bright, determined young girl with a heart full of ambition. With the support of a generous sponsor, she can receive the education she deserves and fulfill her parents’ dream of a better tomorrow.
