Lakshmi’s life took a heartbreaking turn when her husband fell seriously ill. For a year, she stood by him, pouring every rupee they had into his treatment. In a desperate attempt to save him, they sold their house and all their belongings. But fate was cruel—he passed away suddenly, leaving her shattered and alone.
With no home, no savings, and a daughter to care for, Lakshmi found work in a local cashew factory. The wages are meager, barely enough to cover daily expenses. Yet, she shows up every day, driven by the hope that her daughter might have a better future.
Now, in this time of struggle, Lakshmi turns to Jyothi—not for herself, but for her child. She dreams of giving her daughter a chance at education, a chance to rise above the hardships they’ve faced.
