First of all, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Global Giving for their support in our efforts towards educational empowerment of poor and neglected children. Also, we would like to thank our donors for their trust in our work and their whole hearted support towards strengthening our efforts.
We celebrated the auspicious occasion of Indian Independance day on 15th August 2019 with lot of patriotism and enthusiasm.
While reaching out to children at risk, we have found that they are from poor socio - economic background, living in the slums. All the children belong to families who are either below poverty line or where the family income per month is less than the minimum wages. In families, both the parents are daily wage earners with no guarantee of work. They are living in extreme poor housing and sanitary conditions and lag far behind in terms of household possessions and social entitlements.
