At REBUILD globally, our students are really enjoying their summer vacation. Many of them have traveled to the provinces to visit their family and are enjoying a few months of rest before the school year begins in September.
On September 8th, we will celebrate the graduation of 7 of our seniors from the 2016-2017 school year. The next day, REBUILD globally will organize a journey into the mountains to visit some historic sites. This will allow our students to learn more about their country, celebrate the graduated Seniors, and mark the beginning of the new school year!
Our students ended the last school year on a high note! For the final exams in June, 4 of our students were at the very top of their classes. We are particularly proud of these students: Kenold, Charlene, Thezena and Naika for their academic excellence, and their commitment to our tutoring program that empowered their success.
We feel blessed to have people like you who are able to support our Education Program! With support of generous donors like you, we will start the 2017-2018 school year with a Computer Lab that was built over the summer to enrich our students’ educational experience. This will allow for technology training and homework and research support.
Also, we are thrilled to announce that through the generous support of our donors, we were able to add 5 new students to our roster. Now, we will have 35 students enrolled in our program for the 2017-2018 school year! Thank you again to you all for your generous contributions. We are sure that this year will be our best year yet!
