Celebration of a Very Successful School Year

By Djemson Jeudy | Education Program Manager

As you may have heard, the 2018-2019 was extremely successful for the REBUILD globally Elev Program, as we achieved a record 100% pass rate for our students, including all 5 of our students who passed the National State examinations!

According to figures provided by the National Bureau of State Examinations (BUNEXE) in Haiti, the success rate at the national level for the 2018-2019 academic year was 45.90%.   We are so proud of our students! We could not have acheived this great success without the tutoring sessions that we provided them, and also the generous support of our donors. Our accomplishments, including the education of our kids,  are truly the result of donors, tutors, collaborators, and others who support us in so many ways.

We celebrated the success through a graduation ceremony for our 5 graduates: Blondie, Alberson, Lovelie, Bellymcie, and Wenson.

We also celebrated the 2018-2019 school year success of all the students through a field trip, where they had chance to enjoy their journey with pool time, playing games, and other activities they rarely have time and opportunities to engage in

The 2019-2020 school year just started and has significant challenges because of political instability in Haiti.  We remain optimistic that we will have another great successful school year and with your support, we can do it again.
