Lately, access to education in Haiti has become increasingly difficult, due to political instability, inflation and lack of resources and access for the children to go to school. The students at REBUILD globally, are lucky to be part of our Education Program, however, which allows them to keep going to school despite economic challengges. We are so proud of our students, as they are always eager to learn and do well in school.

We are so happy to share the great news about the success of our students for the 2018 – 2019 school year. All of our students completed the 2018 – 2019 school year with success,-- they all passed!  Even more exciting news is that we had 5 Seniors who went to the National exam this year and 100% passed the exam, successfully graduating from highschool! Haiti's national average this year was 45.95% in comparison.

The great success of our students with their 100% record, compared to the 45.95% national average, could not be possible without you, the donors! Because of your support, all of our students were able to go to school despite the countries challenges this year, and have tutoring sessions through our Elev Program, which contributed to the improvement of their capacity and prepared them well for the National Exam.

We will celebrate the Success through a graduation ceremony  for our 5 senior students: Bellymcie, Blondie, Lovelie, Alberson and Wenson, four of whom are pictured in this update!  We will also celebrate the 2018- 2019 school year success through a field trip for all our students, in the coming weeks to celebrate the end of challenging but sucessful school year, and the beginning of a new year!
