Our Elev Education Program has a beautiful new campus and we are so grateful. It has been a great transition and very beneficial for our students!
The new campus provides a better learning environment for our students. We have five tutoring spaces spread across the campus, offering both indoor and outdoor spaces. Our students enjoy the outdoor areas and learning in quiet space and fresh air.
Another great advantage of our new campus is access to reliable electricity - this is especially helpful for our computer class! In Haiti, most students do not have access to technology. With generous contributions from donors like you, we were able to purchase computers and provide a computer lab for our students. The students enjoy learning about technology, the Internet, and different programs like Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Our students are so grateful for the opportunities our new campus is providing. The extra tutoring sessions this summer will allow our students to be more successful in their classes for the 2019-2020 school year. Because of our amazing tutors, our students showed a lot of growth and performed well this past school year.
Bellymcie, Wenson, Alberson, Lovelie, and Blondie just finished taking the country’s National Exams. We are very optimistic that all five of our seniors will pass. They are confident in themselves and testify that the tutoring support they have received over the past year helped them to prepare for the National Exams. We cannot wait to celebrate the success of our seniors at a graduation ceremony this August!!!
A famous saying in Haiti is “men anpil chay pa lou” which translates to many hands make light work. We could not impact all of our students the way that we do without you, the donors! Thank you!
