Nigeria like many countries in the world deals with its own refugee crises. The bane of bandits attacks that led to widespread displacement of people in the North Western part of the country. Homes and whole communities have been destroyed, and survivors lost access to educational right of their children. This project will therefore support 500 less privileged female students affected by conflict and lost access to education from Primary to Tertiary level in Nigeria.
As the world deals with the refugee crisis due to the war in Syria and parts of the Middle East, Nigeria is dealing with its own refugee crises. The bane of bandits attacks that led to widespread displacement of people in the North Western part of the country including female children loosing access their civic right of free education and exposing them to human trafficking and social inequality. The life of these children is bound in a circle of poverty and illiteracy if we did not act.
This project will provide female children with free access to education from basic to tertiary schools. While also providing food and relief materials to them to support them and nurture them mentally. The project will further help the children learn skills4Life to enable them have a brighter future after completing their schools.
The project will eradicate abuse and slavery of under-aged children in Nigeria and will also support the United Nation in full implementation of Sustainable Development Goals of Zero Hunger, No poverty and Quality Education for children.
