Empowering Our Students Through Technology

By Maria Fernanda Franco | Development Director

We are excited to share a major update on how your generosity is transforming futures through our comprehensive Technology Program. In the modern world, digital literacy is a fundamental right, and your support is giving our students the access and training they need to thrive.

We have structured our schedule to ensure every student interacts with modern technology consistently. Each week, our students participate in:

  • Computer Literacy (1 period per week): Students learn fundamental software navigation, typing, and digital research tools, mastering the basics required for academic and professional success.

  • Robotics  (1 period per week): A hands-on class where students learn to build, program, and problem-solve using hardware and logic, making science and math come alive.

Building Thinkers for the Digital Economy

This program is about much more than just learning to use a computer; it is about cognitive development. Through coding and robotics, we are actively building our students' critical thinking and analytical skills. They learn to break down complex problems, experiment with solutions, and collaborate with their peers.

We are also deeply committed to teaching the right and responsible use of technology. By focusing on digital citizenship, internet safety, and productive screen time, we ensure technology is used as a tool for empowerment. Ultimately, you are preparing these young minds to participate competitively in the global digital economy, breaking barriers and opening doors to high-impact future careers.

Thank you for providing the resources that make this cutting-edge education a reality for our students!
