SMPD has been actively working with children and their parents in small rural communities of the Mirpurkhas District. We are happy to contribute to building a better future for the next generation.
Most of these children come from families where the parents are daily wage earners. This means that the family can only survive as long as the earning member is able to work. If the main earning member becomes sick or faces an accident, the family immediately falls into financial hardship.
To help children overcome these difficult circumstances, we believe that education is the most effective and affordable solution to break the cycle of poverty. It is very important to keep children motivated and engaged in their schooling. Programs like this encourage them and remind them that they are not alone.
Through small forms of support, we help students remain connected to their schools and continue their education. In addition, our motivation sessions guide them in shaping their future careers and building confidence for the years ahead.
We are truly grateful to supporters like you, whose generosity is making a real difference in the lives of these children.
