I am very pleased to have another opportunity to present the project update of our school education project (Education for Poor children on Tonle Sap Siem Reap, Cambodia). During December 2014 we received individual donations from GlobalGiving totalling around $4,117. We are so happy that $2,897 was used to support 10 children for the 2015/2016 education year. $1,220 used to support the administrative expenses both within GlobalGiving and Neary Khmer Organization. We here at Siem Reap are thankful to all our donors and wish you all happiness!
With funds received we've been able to provide all children with:
The admission in the school will be from June 01, 2015. The 10 children are kind boys and girls, who would be co-operative and humble in class and have interest on all subjects according to their class teachers remarks.
Neary Khmer staff have demonstrated the ability to initiate successfully a start of the project. However, Neary Khmer will cease operation at the end of May, 2015. This action has been forced upon the NGO through a scarcity of funding, and means that it will not be possible to continue the action with the child education children.
All the best
