Education for children/girls in Teahplay, Liberia

Our mission to open doors to education continues. We are grateful to our faithful donors and to Abigail, R.O.C.K.’s Liberia Correspondent. Abigail has had several family crises; however, she has remained a faithful and dependable worker for R.O.C.K. She has proven to be a trustworthy accountability partner.

R.O.C.K’s Learning Dynamics Project (RLDP) seeks to increase reading and English-speaking skills and provide vocational skills for children and females in the Village of Teahplay Liberia.

Educational Supports Program:

Abigail, R.O.C.K.'s Liberia Correspondent, continues to oversee R.O.C.K.’s Learning Dynamic Project. Her report is as follows: 

1. As part of the mission to increase reading and English-speaking skills we have offered academic scholarships to four youths to attend college and two youths to finish high school.  Upon graduation they will pay forward by going back to
2. Teahplay to improve education. All recipients of a R.O.C.K. scholarships successfully completed the last semester.
3. In September 2022, the children in Teahplay returned to school. However, the school is currently closed due to work being done on the school building that makes it unsafe for the children to attend.
4. When the school building is completed with doors and windows and a secure storage room, Abigail will assess the readiness for the reading equipment.
5. Scholarship recipients have been able to pay tuition, however, some of them have hardship related to lack of money for food, boarding and transportation.

Timothy: "I am so happy to ROCK tell you thanks for the level of support toward me, I'm kindly appealing to continue your support to a higher level."

Serina: "I want to appreciate ROCK for their kindness toward my education, I pray that ROCK continue her support to my education."
