Recently, Evans Wadongo, accompanied by local leaders, visited 3 learning centers for shepherd classes in Marallal and Baragoi areas. During the visit, they assesed the progress being made to increase the number of girls, and also discussed the need to set up income generating projects to make the centers more sustainable. After the visit, the Program Director will be contacting like minded organizations to establish a partnership, that can help achieve sustainability in the special evenign class centers. The team also established that insecurity is still a major hindrance for girls attending the school. Mr. Wadongo met with the area Senator to seek support in providing police officers to patrol the schools to make the children feel safer.
