The BAPZ Guardian Angel Programme (ZIMGAP) was started back in 2014 as a response to the loss of UNICEF BEAM Funding for 1 million orphans in Zimbabwe. Since then, ZIMGAP has impacted the lives of more than 300 orphans in the municipality of Victoria Falls.
Today, the programme is continuing its promise to help the children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Zimbabwe to return to school and earn primary, secondary and university level educations. Through the consistent generosity of donors like you, ZIMGAP helps children receive funding for tuition, books, uniforms and school supplies.
There is still much work to be done, as there are 10,000 orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) in Matabeleland North, the province of Zimbabwe where BAPZ is based. By 2018, BAPZ will be able to achieve educational funding for nearly half of those OVC - and all with your help.
On behalf of Edward, Anna, Janet, and the more than 300 OVC who have benefited as a direct result of your generosity, BAPZ would like to say thank you. We hope that you will consider to continue helping us help those who are in most need. Your gifts give a second chance to young people and help BAPZ continue its mission of saving the next generation.
