Your commitment to defending the rights of working children has borne fruit in the more than 265 children and adolescents who have participated this quarter in the training and support activities offered by Melel.
One of these activities, on March 8th, was a gathering of girls and adolescent women who reflected on the violence and inequalities they experience in their communities and in society. 80% of the participants mentioned at least two actions to promote women's participation in building safer environments. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1NTz1nZRm3/
On May 1st, in commemoration of International Workers' Day, more than 60 children and adolescents took to the streets of San Cristóbal to make their work visible and amplify their voices in the pursuit of a less unequal city and to reduce the stigma surrounding working children. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1dXYWgLDNF/
