During the month of December the National Meeting of working children was held, where they could share the reality in which they live, as well as identify themselves as dignified and rights workers.
There were activities of reflection and play where they shared and learned about teamwork, labor and human rights, as well as the importance of unity to achieve compliance.
Children and adolescents from the three meeting groups that participate with Melel Xojobal attended, as well as from states such as Oaxaca, Mexico City, Veracruz, Querétaro and Guatemala.
Having the opportunity to meet new realities and share experiences of struggle among children, strengthens their desire to be better people and feel proud of who they are.
