Education is one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of poverty, yet many vulnerable children in Haiti cannot attend school without assistance. HRI's School Scholarship Program helps orphans and children from extremely poor, single-parent households access education by covering tuition, uniforms, school supplies, and other essential expenses. By removing financial barriers, this program enables children to stay in school, continue their education, and build a brighter future!
Extreme poverty prevents many children in Haiti from attending school. Families often cannot afford basic educational expenses such as tuition, uniforms, books, and school supplies. As a result, vulnerable children-including orphans and those living with single mothers-are at risk of missing out on an education and the opportunities it creates for a better future. HRI sponsored these 15 children every year, but the fundraising platform previously used closed down. We urgently need new sponsors.
This project will provide school scholarships for 15 vulnerable children living in extreme poverty, covering essential expenses such as tuition, uniforms, books, school supplies, and transportation. By removing these financial barriers, children can remain in school, continue their education, and gain the knowledge and skills needed to build brighter, more self-sufficient futures.
Education creates lasting change. By helping vulnerable children stay in school, this project increases their opportunities for future employment, higher earnings, and improved quality of life. Over time, educated children are better equipped to support their families, contribute to their communities, and help break the cycle of poverty for future generations.
