An exciting new youth program in cooperation with the Jerusalem Foundation has recently started at the Zoo.
Called ‘Atid LaNoar’, which means ‘Future for Youth’, the program aims to assist in the acquisition of tools and skills in the fields of training and leadership for Arab youth in Jerusalem.
The program is a step in a long process and as part of their preparation for integration in the field of employment in the future.
Collaborating with the Zoo on the program is the Young Business Leadership Council and the focus will be on both empowering and imparting professional tools from the field of training and leadership along with developing occupational skills (tools, skills, exposure and motivation).
The program will include 10 sessions, each session about 2 hours, with 15 young people in each group.
Have a warm winter,
Rachael and the Education Team
