Over the past months, the Education & Transport for 50 Deaf Kids project has shown encouraging growth and tangible impact. As student enrollment and attendance steadily increased, the need for enhanced academic support became clear. What began with one teacher has now expanded to two dedicated teachers, allowing us to provide both religious education and contemporary academic learning in a more structured and supportive environment.
All enrolled children continue to receive free education, along with transport support, stationery, and books, reducing the financial burden on families who often face multiple layers of exclusion. Improved access to learning has resulted in greater confidence among students, stronger engagement in class, and noticeable progress in communication and comprehension skills.
This progress would not have been possible without the consistent support of the GlobalGiving family, whose trust and encouragement remain a source of strength for our team. Their support enables us not only to sustain current services but also to plan ahead — including expanding enrollment and improving safe transport options for children who travel long distances to attend school.
Together, we are building more than access to education; we are creating pathways of dignity, inclusion, and long-term opportunity for deaf children and their families.
