The Year that was 2020

By Titus Mwangi | Project Leader

Dear Friend,

Since you last read from us in Jan 2020, we have spent some time to take stock of the year that was, and to draw where we are going next. MCFp, like many organizations, suffered massive challenges attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic but in the adversity, we saw opportunities for us to impact our communities in more ways than were on our radar.

There’s a lot that we have achieved, and a lot that we have learnt, but also there’s a lot more that we can all hope for looking ahead.

We have packaged our 2020 lessons, successes, and wins into a report – The Year That Was 2020! The report, which is attached is a testament to our journey of the last 12 months, the memorable experiences and the growth of the children/young people who pass through our hands.

In some ways 2020 has devastated us, in others, it has galvanized us. But one thing remained abundantly clear—none of this could have happened without you.

Thank you for being the light in a long, dark year. Thank you for making it possible to reach new heights and keep going.  We invite you to read and share in our mission.

Asante sana.
