2020.July.05 - With the effects of COVID-19 increasing throughout the United States, but especially in the project's region of northeastern Florida, our staff and our partners had to make a very difficult decision to suspend the project temporarily. Our hope is that the the pandemic will achieve a safe environment prior to the fall of 2020 so we can continue to educate the survivors of hurricane Irma in the region.
Our intent is to host these REDC events at a time where COVID-19 is no longer a hazard to the residents who still need assistance and support with their recovery, our partners and team members. Our hope is that these social distancing issues will be lifted, and our world will return to pre-virus status as soon as possible, preferrably before the 2020 hurricane season ends; when education becomes more critical to prepare and mitigate for future hazards. We will strive to host our educational events in northern Florida and nationally as soon as possible.
Until that time, please be safe, stay healthy and perform the 5-tasks while our country battles the current virus.
Yours in resilience,
Brian Baer
