The Argentine Firefighters Foundation continues to educate and train schoolchildren as key players in preventing and reducing risks in the home.
This year, five volunteer firefighter associations have implemented the “Todos en Alerta” campaign, which focuses on creating a culture of prevention in communities and strengthening their resilience. In total, more than 2,800 children have been trained.
The main topics covered during the activities are: home hazards, school evacuation procedures, and electrical hazards.
Teachers at participating schools highlight the quality of the educational materials provided to the children during each activity, which allows them to continue working on these topics both in the classroom and at home.
