Educating a woman is promoting the knowledge

Education has the power to change not only one life, but an entire family and, over time, an entire community. In many underserved communities, women and girls continue to face barriers that limit their access to education, skills development, and opportunities to participate fully in social and economic life. Yet women are often at the heart of the family. When a woman gains knowledge and confidence, she is better able to support her children, make informed decisions, contribute to household well-being, and encourage the next generation to value education. The “Educating a Woman is Promoting Knowledge” project was created from this simple but powerful belief: investing in women is an investment in families and future generations.

Project Objectives & Current Progress

The project aims to provide women with access to quality learning resources, practical training, and awareness activities that strengthen their knowledge and skills. It will also address social and cultural barriers, including gender stereotypes and attitudes that can prevent girls and women from reaching their educational potential. At this stage, the project is in its preparation and mobilization phase. The team is currently identifying qualified trainers and potential learners and preparing the conditions required for effective implementation. No project activities are being presented as completed before they actually take place. This approach allows us to remain transparent with our supporters while building a strong foundation for the project. The initiative was planned for implementation beginning in November 2025, and the current preparation work is focused on ensuring that future activities respond to the real needs of participating women and their communities.

Funding, Expected Impact & Perspectives

The total estimated budget for the project is USD 6,750. To date, USD 0 has been raised, meaning that the project still urgently needs financial support to move from preparation to full implementation. Our collaboration with GlobalGiving represents an important opportunity to connect this community initiative with donors around the world and to strengthen our ability to mobilize the resources needed to achieve the project's objectives. With adequate funding, the project will provide training and educational support to women, create opportunities for learning, and encourage families and communities to become stronger advocates for women's and girls' education. In the longer term, we expect the project to contribute to greater confidence and skills among women, improved support for children's education, increased economic opportunities, better awareness of health and well-being, and stronger gender equality. These changes may begin with one woman learning a new skill, but their benefits can extend to her children, her family, and future generations.
