Educate to transform

Another quarter of activities has reaffirmed Fundação Gol de Letra’s commitment to holistic education, the protection of children and adolescents, and the expansion of opportunities for young people and their communities. 

In May, all Foundation units carried out awareness activities for Brazil’s National Day Against the Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children and Adolescents. Through workshops led by our social workers, children and adolescents engaged in conversations and activities focused on rights, protection, and the importance of safe environments, reinforcing the shared responsibility of caring for and protecting children and young people. 

In Rio de Janeiro, the InspirAção Caju project hosted Anime Day, a festival featuring workshops and activities inspired by Japanese animation. Through games and interactive experiences, children and adolescents reflected on themes such as friendship, cooperation, respect, and resilience, turning elements of the animation universe into meaningful learning and social experiences. 

We also celebrated the results of Fundação Gol de Letra’s Community College Preparation Program. More than individual achievements, these results reflect the impact of a collective effort to expand access to higher education and create new opportunities for the future. Each student admitted to university strengthens a network of opportunities that reaches families and entire communities, reaffirming education as a powerful tool for social transformation.
