The project is still in its early implementation stage, with fundraising activities currently ongoing to meet the $10,000 target needed to support 250 orphaned children in Bauchi, Nigeria. So far, the campaign has received support from 1 donor, with $1 raised toward the project goal. While this amount is still far below the required funding, it marks the beginning of community engagement and awareness for the initiative.
At this stage, project efforts have focused primarily on advocacy, donor outreach, and mobilization to secure the financial resources necessary for full implementation. The increasing cost of education, food, healthcare, and child welfare services continues to highlight the urgent need for additional financial support. Funds raised from the campaign will be used directly for school tuition, learning materials, uniforms, daily nutrition, healthcare support, and welfare assistance for the orphaned children and their guardians.
The project team remains committed to transparency and accountability as fundraising continues, and efforts are being intensified to attract more donors, partners, and sponsors who can help close the funding gap and ensure the successful execution of the project objectives.
