Challenge

Uganda is home to over 2.4 million orphaned children, many living in rural areas. According to UNICEF, financial hardship is a leading cause of school dropout. Guardians often cannot afford school fees, uniforms, or supplies. As a result, many children miss classes or drop out, especially in their final year, limiting their future opportunities.

Solution

This project supports orphaned children by providing school fees, supplies, and basic requirements. It prioritizes final-year primary pupils preparing for national exams. By removing financial barriers, children can stay in school, complete their education, and transition to secondary school with confidence and hope.

Long-Term Impact

Education reduces poverty and improves life outcomes. Children who complete primary school are more likely to continue to secondary education and earn better incomes. This project will reduce dropout rates, improve literacy, and empower orphaned children to become self-reliant and contribute positively to their communities.
