Meet the Twins
Mogan and Megan are 11-year-old twins. As toddlers, their single mother developed debilitating mental health problems, so Mogan and Megan fell into the care of a grandmother who lacked the means to support them. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we were able to welcome Mogan and Megan to our school as kindergartners, before they had a chance to fall behind. Today, they are vibrant fourth graders who love science and soccer. Thank you for all you do to help us ensure children like Mogan and Megan are not left behind by circumstances beyond their control.
Boost Your Impact
On JUNE 15th, GlobalGiving will host a bonus day, when they will provide a 40% match on all donations made to the Margaret Okari Children’s Foundation through the GlobalGiving website. We work hard to provide our kids with a nurturing home and one of the best academic programs available in our region -- and we do it all at a cost of less than $1 per child per day. June 15th is a great opportunity to help your dollars go further in support of kids like Mogan and Megan. We’ll send a reminder as the date approaches, but please mark your calendars now!
