She lost her father a while ago, this made her a shy, fearful girl with no desire to face life. She is 9 years old, and she is in her fourth year of primary education, unable to read and write, as a result of the trauma caused by her family situation.

Testimony of a girl:

My dream was to learn to read and write, to tell mom how much I love her. To be able to write letters to my father to heaven. This is how I entered the program of children with disabilities or health and special education that drives the organization Un Mundo. It was an opportunity that life presented to me to see the light at the end of the dark tunnel. And after 1 year of belonging to this wonderful program, I learned to read and write, making my dream come true.

This program is changing the lives of many children with disabilities, and it offers them a light of hope. Many times, it is a long way, but in the end, it has its reward. It is bringing smiles in sad faces.

This positive impact on the lives of our beneficiaries would not be possible without their valuable collaboration. We invite you to continue supporting, and share these experiences with your friends, so that others join this noble cause.

Special education is the transformation of life, is to provide tools to better understand your reality. It's building dreams together ...

Our girl in this story shows us that when you can, you want to, and that disability only exists in the minds of those who do not want to overcome.

Taking the pencil and drawing a line is an achievement for her. However, create a drawing that represents your environment, that is ecstasy.

Testimony of a girl:

I always wanted to draw something, and at first, I thought it was impossible, but now that I make it happen, I can understand that barriers only exist for the losers. I have shown others and myself that we can achieve everything we set out to do.

I am sure that many dreams are lost to reality because of the fear of trying, and I want to be an inspiration for other children.

In order to continue fulfilling the dreams of many children, we need to continue having their individual collaboration, and be grateful that they can link us with new individuals, so that together we can change the lives of those who are forgotten and excluded.

Inclusive education, transforms the lives of people...

One thought says: "The greatest disability of a person is that which is in the mind"

With this in mind, we worked on an educational program for children in schools in the theme "Inclusive Risk Management and Disasters in Disability and Older Adult".

In this story, we introduce you to six children who dramatized different disabilities, guided by an expert in Inclusive Education. The purpose was for each child to be able to interpret and understand each disability, and how to be inclusive.

Below, you can read some of the testimonies of these children:

Before I laughed when I looked at a disabled person, and today I understand that that person has the same values, dignity and dreams, that all of us.

-Family of the image

Nobody is far from a disability, today we can be outside of it, tomorrow we can be inside. That is why we cannot be indifferent and selfish before this situation.

-Family of the image

Our program will continue transforming lives, breaking paradigms, creating awareness, and above all offering better living conditions. To make these dreams come true, we need to continue to have their collaboration and support, and to be able to spread the word to more people to make all our expectations come true.

"Together we can be part of the change we want to see"

Education for children with special educational needs is worked in a fun, creative and personalized way, using attractive teaching-learning tools.

The child can learn more quickly, increasing their self-esteem and self-confidence. He is inspired and motivated to attend classes every day, and his personal and professional development can be easily perceived.

Using playful methodology allows a connection between the child and the teacher, and makes the class more interactive and participatory, ensuring that other areas arise spontaneously.

This program every time breaks paradigms and ensures a greater inclusion of children in regular schools, managing to reduce the discrimination and exclusion gap. Children are part of their environment and become inspiration for the rest of the children in their school.

Learning by playing has been a success to ensure attendance, academic performance and school motivation. It really makes you fall in love to see the children's smile knowing that they are capable of learning in a different way.

They will continue playing and learning, they will make their imagination fly and they will travel through the wonderful world of education ...

Many thanks to all the donors that make this program a reality. Without you support, our success would not be possible.

We will continue changing lives!

Testimony of a family mother

Some time ago my life was full of anguish and sadness when I saw that my son did not show any improvement in his physical condition, and walking seemed an impossible challenge to achieve. My son has a medical diagnosis of spina bifida and equine foot, something that affects him to be able to walk and have a correct posture of his body. However, since entering the program, the therapies have made incredible advances in my son's physical health, and now he is attending kindergarten to receive his classes.

As well as this story of my son, there are many more that are transforming the lives of many children, something that not only helps in their health, but also improves the self-esteem of us parents, who are completely happy to see that Our children are improving their quality of life.

That our children can have access to education, specialized and personalized health, is something that really inspires us to continue advocating for these rights that have historically been removed. Our struggle is just beginning, and we are convinced that tomorrow we will have a more just world, full of great hope for all people with special educational needs.

We are very grateful to the organization Un Mundo for the support it provides through the program, and to all the sponsors and donors that make this type of intervention a reality. Without your support, our children would have a darker path, full of frustration.
