Greetings!
Thanks to your generous support, 36 students in the Buenos Aires area of the Ngäbe Buglé Comarca in rural Panama now have access to portable computing devices. Students received tablets and smartphones and to ensure they can connect to classes and their teachers during the pandemic. The students were all eligible due to their direct or family member participation in the Women’s Artisan Cooperative. The recipients range from middle school through university age, and will now be able to continue with their studies as classes remain remote. These devices have a tremendous impact on their access to class materials, ability to contact teachers with questions on materials, upload completed assignments, and connect with other students and family members.
We will follow up with updates and impact from students in the next report.
Thank you for your contribution to bringing portable computing devices to these students!
