Attached is the first of the needs assessments for the very first online network that will specifically be designed to benefit females in teriary institutions in northern Nigeria.
This is part of the EEE project and is the first needs assessments that will be conducted among the target beneficaries of this aspect of the project.
One hundred female students of the Federal College of Education, Kaduna took part in a survey that was designed to identify their level of access to the internet and why they accessed the internet. This project will not only provide tons of information on subjects of interest but will also provide a network of female professionals a safe space for engagement, learning and exchange.
This project, which is part of the Educate, Equip and Empower project of EWEI, aims to design a space that will provide opportunities for female change makers and social enterpreneurs, provide information resources for the benefit of all and encourage women in the field of (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
