Attached is the report on the first EEE session held in November 2016. in it you will read details of what we have started to use your support for. Thank you for giving to this cause.
Our first session was held on the International Day of the Rural Woman (IDRW) and we took the opportunity of connecting with the theme of the day to conduct the first in a series of skills acquisition and mentoring sessions. The session was held on 14 November 2016 at Ungwan John Community in Nassarawa, Kaduna, Nigeria.
With seventy women in attendance, we had a chance not only to share some income generatign skills with the women, but also enligthen them and otehr stakeholders present on the need for promoting gender equity in every area especially economic empowerment.
With high poverty rates and the Nigerian economy in recession, a lot of effort needs to be put into grassroots capacity building and provision of support systems to curb the growing endemic of poverty.
