Project Report– COVID 19 Pandemic
Dear Donors,
Erase the hunger and nourish the poor……..
The whole world is reeling under the COVID 19 pandemic and Abhilash Foundation initiated the process of relief work (dry ration food grains distribution) in many parts of Mumbai, Thane & Navi Mumbai. We are really proud to be associated with Global Giving Team for the support they are rendering to Abhilasha Foundation. Online classes are going on and children all children are studying. Together we can teach these underprivileged children and eradicate poverty, illiteracy, malnutrition, and violence. The migrants were very happy to receive the foodgrains from Abhilasha Foundation and they learned social distancing. We instructed the community volunteer to take care of social distancing and making the line or a circle 6 feet away to maintain social distance while standing in line and also informed them to cover the face to carry the activity smoothly. Children below 10 and Senior citizens were not allowed to collect the foodgrains as per the government guidelines. The community volunteers were also announced to form que and then only they will distribute foodgrains to them. This was captured by a news channel INSS News. After viewing the news many community volunteers of various slums started contacted us for foodgrains. We have covered more than 45 slums and we have touched more than 20790 beneficiaries, 6300 Ration kit distributed, 1000 Masks, 1000 Sanitizers distributed, 1000 Hand gloves distributed, 1000 Sanitary pad distributed to the women, more than 4500 people helped through helpline and with your support we are still counting for more…
