Thank you GlobalGiving Team for standing with us to transform the lives of the underprivileged children. Abhilasha Foundation has set up 14 portable classrooms for teaching the underprivileged children and still expanding our educational projects……. These underprivileged children are not only provided with quality education but also with a quality stationary, life skills and focus on teaching English to them. The funds received will be used for educating these children. Please help Abhilasha Foundation to give these children, a hope for the future and the assurance of our unwavering helping hand by educating them. Once again, thank you so much for your continued support and we look forward to your contribution every month for these underprivileged children for supporting them through education…
Case story of one of the beneficiaries under Educational Support Programme:
She is a 13 year old innocent looking girl who stays at Malvani. Her father works as an Autorickshaw driver and her mother is a Tailor. She has one sister and one brother who are also studying. They came to Mumbai for their livelihood and are staying on rent in Mumbai. She is a very soft spoken, sweet girl. She is very intelligent in her studies and very active in other activities like dance, singing and drawing. She finishes her homework and helps other children also in their studies. She participates in all the function. She comes to our centre daily and do not miss a single day. She is studying in M.H.B English Medium High School, Malvani, Malad. She helps her mother by filling water and cleaning the house. She aspires to become a dance teacher or a school teacher and would like to teach the underprivileged children. She is a very hardworking girl. Earlier she was a very shy girl but now she anchors the programme when any donor visits to our centre. She talks in English. Without our donors support we would not have been able to build these future generations investing in these underprivileged children. They are our change makers of our future …….
Our commitment towards academic skills with creative development we all continue to bring these underprivileged children in the mainstream. We are stronger and more resilient together – your continued support allows us to build better, more creative and sustainable programs for our young people.
