Behind Rajasthan's vibrant culture lies a hidden crisis within denotified tribes, where generations of adolescent girls are pushed into sex work while many boys grow up without education, direction, or opportunities, often entering exploitative systems themselves. iPartner India is working to break this cycle by empowering vulnerable boys and girls through education, mentorship, life skills, and livelihood opportunities, enabling them to build safe, independent, and dignified futures.
While government, non-profit organisations, and companies have rightly focused on empowering girls and women through education, the absence of complementary efforts addressing boys and men within a patriarchal framework has resulted in imbalanced gender dynamics. This neglect often contributes to poor quality of education, unemployment, substance abuse, and social disengagement among men, particularly within marginalised denotified communities in rural Rajasthan.
iPartner has empowered 285,507 children through transformative education initiatives, yet recognizes the urgent need to uplift boys too, equipping them with opportunities to grow and thrive. With your generous support, iPartner India aims to provide scholarships to109 academically exceptional, bright young boys from vulnerable communities. These scholarships will fuel their dreams, foster independence, enable family support, and break the cycle of sex work for their sisters and mothers.
The long-term impact transcends mere scholarships, unlocking vast horizons for these young men to access education, achieve self-sustainability, and attain true independence. Broadened perspectives will empower them to support their families, prevent young girls from falling into sex work, and serve as inspiring role models, motivating future generations of boys to pursue education, aspire for dignified livelihoods, and break free from cycles of exploitation and inherited social vulnerabilities.
