The energy and hope of these beautiful girls is infectious. Despite their humble beginnings and difficult life circumstances, they are joyful and hopeful. School started in November due to COVID-19 and political and civil unrest, but they are ready to get back to the business of studying and changing their lives for the better.
The young lady we are featuring has reasons to smile. She is enrolled in school and living her dream come true. Rachel is an orphan who has lived from one host family to another over her lifetime. Her main chores included house cleaning and babysitting. The host families, being poor themselves, could not afford to send her to school. But now at 14 years of age she is in the 5th grade, all fees paid and lots of care from our partners in Guinea, West Africa. Femme Aide Femme (FAF) is French for Women Helping Women. We celebrate with Rachel this wonderful opportunity to change the trajectory of her life. Every night she prays for you and her team for caring and making her dream come true.
Thank you, our friends, for helping us to keep all twenty-two (22) children in both primary and secondary school for the 2020-2021 school year. YOU ROCK!
Our GlobalGiving platform makes giving easy and safe. On behalf of all of us at Women Helping Women thank you for your loyal and generous support. We couldn’t do it without you!!!
