Rathithi Polytechnic is dedicated to empowering the community by providing skills training.
Rathithi Polytechnic provided a three-month training program from June to August 2024 for 13 women from the Kiondini women’s group. The training focused on food and beverage production, service, and pastries. A graduation ceremony was held on September 13, 2024, attended by community leaders and group sponsors. These skills will help the women start a catering business and act as brand ambassadors for the Rathithi catering class.
Kiondoini women’s group was formed to bring women together for self-empowerment through table banking activities and other income generating activities.
The skills will go a long way in helping the women earn a livelihood through outside catering service business.
