Dear Respected Donors,

Greetings to you from Health Education Adoption Rehabilitation Development Society (HEARDS) – India!

With your valuable support HEARDS has started its project on “Educate after School Downtrodden children in India”.  We have a great confidence and hope on you that you will support this project and make this project a great success.  With this great confidence we initiated this project and your support towards this project will definitely change the attitudes and lives of many all the 127 children of Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, India.  HEARDS has started this program because many Government school going children standards were not up to the mark and there is a great need to heighten the learning capacity of children.

As part of the HEARDS activities, we are doing door to door survey to find the economically disadvantaged poor students in urban and rural areas, where the students are becoming drop outs because of lack of timely educational support, uniforms and other needs. During our survey we came to know that most of the poor girl students in the High Schools are not attending schools regularly because of poverty, child labour, and discrimination among the community. Some of the girls are forcedly sending by the hapless parents to the nearby factories, industries, poultry farms, houses to work as domestic servant maids, to take care of the small baby children.

Please consider this project as an inevitable project and its  kindly share this by telling it to your relatives, friends and close knit family members about HEARDS projects - share the link on your blogs or social networks, use the tell-a-friend feature on the project page to email your network, or just bring us up in conversation. You know your friends and family tell them why you chose our project and what it means to you.

I am also enclosing a picture of Jamuna and her sister Prabha where HEARDS donated a bicycle for these two girls to go to Government school for their studies.  The Government school was located around 5 kilometers away from their home and therefore they were planning to dropout.  But HEARDS staff convinced and donated a bicycle for them towards their travel to school and home.

I fervently on behalf of all HEARDS Board members would like to thank you and wish and expect your valuable support in future also.  I shall always continue to keep up updates as and now whenever needed.

Thanking you,

With best wishes and fond regards,
