Christel House Jamaica is celebrating another year of academic progress as its second Grade 6 cohort demonstrated continued growth on Jamaica’s Primary Exit Profile assessment, which is used to determine primary school students’ readiness for high school.

With two years of Grade 6 results now available, the school has recorded year-over-year improvements in both Language Arts and Mathematics, reflecting the strength of its academic program and the dedication of its students and teachers. The encouraging results mark another important milestone as Christel House Jamaica prepares students for success in secondary school and beyond.

Christel House Jamaica was founded in 2020 in Spanish Town. The school serves kindergarten to grade 7 currently and is expanding annually to eventually serve all grades.Christel House Jamaica opened its high school in 2025 as the school continues to add a grade each year through Grade 13.

Since its inception, Christel House Jamaica has made remarkable strides in academic achievements. In the few years since the opening, Christel House Jamaica has been praised by government officials, including Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Education Minister Fayval Williams – who attended the official opening of the Christel House Jamaica primary school. The students have also excelled in extracurricular activities, earning awards in music, speech, and drama. Notably, the school’s band won the National Award for Excellence in Musicianship. Also, the initiation of sports programs, including soccer, and track and field, underscores the school’s commitment to developing the physical as well as academic capabilities of the students.
