Young women like Fatu are gaining access to educational opportunities that are helping them pursue ambitious dreams and build brighter futures.
Fatu has been part of the Develop Africa Scholarship Program since 2013. Thanks to the support of generous donors, she has been able to continue her education and work steadily toward her goals over the past 13 years.
Today, Fatu is taking the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), a major milestone that will help determine her path to higher education. She has worked hard to reach this point and remains focused on achieving academic success.
Inspired by a desire to help others and improve healthcare in her community, Fatu hopes to attend college to pursue a medical degree.
When girls receive an education, communities become stronger, families benefit, and future generations are inspired to dream bigger.
Fatu's story is a powerful reminder that every donation matters. Your generosity has helped her progress from a young scholarship student in 2013 to a determined young woman preparing for college and pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor.
Together, we are empowering the next generation of educated, confident, and capable young women leaders.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Amy & the Develop Africa Team
