Educate 50 Deaf Children, Create a Future - Mexico

EEESMA School for the Deaf is considered to be one of the most advanced, forward thinking school for Deaf children in Mexico, dedicated to nurturing the whole child through a rich academic curriculum, specialized support, and diverse extracurricular programs. With a highly trained, skilled and dedicated team of teachers of the Deaf, we provide an inclusive, language-rich environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. It has evolved into a model for the most well rounded, comprehensive school for deaf education in the country, supporting over 100 Deaf children and young adults from K to 12 over the past 13 years.

One of the most noteworthy accomplishments is the fine achievements of our devoted and enthusiastic teachers and teachers' assistants. These wonderful young people are paving a path to greater knowledge and setting the bar even higher for themselves and their students. We couldn't be more proud of all of their achievements.

The past six months marked great progress for the school. Fundraising was one priority with several successful events including the Rotary Day of the Dead Tour, Annual Holiday Craft Fair, Casa Europa Chistmas Market, Robbie Burns Supper, San Miguel Writer's Conference Artisan Market, Annual Spring Luncheon and, coming up soon, the Open House and Raffle. A heartfelt thank you to all who sponsored these events and who volunteered their help to make them a success.

With growing enrollment and rising operating costs, we cannot rest on our laurels. We hope you too will consider offering your support to EEESMA School for the Deaf today. For all those who have supported us, we are so very grateful.
