AMAZING LIGHT
REPORT ON PROVISION OF PETROMAX LANTERN
IN THE NEWLY IDENTIFIED SLUM AREA (Bowenpally, Secunderabad, Ranga Reddy, District.)
Summary: The project will enable 900 children to go to school. In these areas there is no electricity,clean water & proper shelter. Will provide for school needs, solar lamp & safe & clean water, and awareness on communicable diseases.
Description of the newly identified Area:
The people living here are in pathetic condition, without any basic amenities like clean drinking water, no proper sanitation, no proper shelter, no electricity residing in huts. Main occupation of these people is ragpicking. They live very close to roadside with unhygienic condition, uncleanliness as their occupation is ragpicking, and children may easily affected with skin diseases. Some children are school dropouts not having proper education & few children go to School but lack of school needs.
We are happy and excited to report about the provision of Petromax Lamp to these deserving devoid people of Bowenpally who live in huts without any electricity. We provided a Petromax Lamp which runs on kerosene. And kerosene is easily available in the local places where these people dwell and also at reasonable price. “Indeed, this Petromax Lamp is a dazzling in the gloominess”.
The people are very much surprised to receive this Petromax Latern. Especailly children are the main beneficiary as they all gather in-group studies. Children are very enthusiastic and enjoying studying together and helping the younger children by the elder boys. Really, this has helped them in motivating to go to school. The parents are very happy about their children’s interest in studies and their transformation and leading to unity, love, sharing, caring, creativity, and drawing out their hidden talents. They extend their gratitude to the donors of Globalgiving for their generous valuable support and pray for continued help in this concerned area.
Needs are many, we are just praying God for their basic essentials needs to be met and request for the generous donors to come forward and extend their valuable support for these down-trodden people.
As we have started to serve in this area, we take the challenge and seek your contribution towards this project in uplifting these people for the Kingdom of God, and great blessings to the Donors.
