Children In Hyderabad Slums ( # 5290 )
SUMMARY : This project facilitate 900 children go to school with school needs for the academic year along with raincoats to the children as the rainy season started. The parents are very happy to see their children in protective raincoats.
ABOUT THE CHILDREN : After availing enjoyable summer vacation children are back to the schools from June 2012. They are all in cheerful atmosphere because of promoting to new standard of class.
RDOET IN ACTION : RDOET (HAO India) distributed rain coats to the children. Each and every child is provided with seasonal rain coat. To protect the children from drenching RDOET distributed the material keeping slum/road side dwellers children’s health hazard.
RAINY SEASON : Rainy season is a blessing as well creates havoc, during incessant. Roads become muddy, slushy and dangerous with open manholes and drainage system.
Many communicable and epidemic diseases like Fever, Cough, Malaria, and Diarrhea arise in this rainy season. Impure water and bad weather are the chief reasons of the spread of diseases.
