Activities
Education:
Our children go to school
The group provides;
Uniform
Scholastic materials
These are from funds received from the River Fund.
Achievements
Children have been maintained in schools and kept healthy
Scholastic materials have been provided to the children by the group
Members have been able to take care of their families and kept themselves healthy
Challenges
Women have lost most of the seeds due to the long drought
No maize and beans were sold because of the poor yield
Both first and second season have not done well
Without rain, there is hunger in the nearest future

Use of wasted charcoal
Practice in long term survival skills
Tree planting
Under care for orphans, we provide scholastic materials and uniforms to the orphans and vulnerable children.
Women used wasted charcoal to mix with mud to make charcoal for cooking
The women practiced tree planting as a group
Achievements
• Children have been kept in schools
• Homes are clean and healthy than before
Challenges
• Long drought that has caused hunger in the communities
• One orphan supported by the women died this month from cerebral malaria. She was 14 years old.
