PROGRESS REPORT JANUARY 2015

As we ended the year 2014 we are honored to see our children complete their end of exams excelling to another level of education, here comes again another great year of hope 2015, year for success believing that many of our dreams come to pass as the struggle continues.

We entered the year 2015 with a lot joy and happiness as our children receive schooling materials and uniforms for another long journey of academic struggle in 2015. This has been made possible with donation support which we received in early December 2014 Ug. Shs. 35,348,000 was spent on children’s education support and Ug. Shs. 960,000 on housing support for one student at St. Laurence University.

Your financial support has left long lasting memories in the hearts of these children.

This gives us the will to fulfill our objectives and reach our educational support services to every child. We have a dedicated team of leaders in three districts: Tororo, Busia and Bugiri where these team leaders work hand in hand with various respective school head teachers handling the task of educating and also bridging the gap between child and school staff and community members for better up bringing the children to be good citizens.

Challenges:

Majority of Uganda‘s population live in rural setting where poverty and pandemic disease has stricken and where most cannot afford to meet better health, quality education and majority of these are women and children who are has faced by many of these challenges, high cost of educational material, uniforms and infrastructure, teachers are underpaid, all rural school children go bare footed and some stay without a meal at school.

We are blessed to partner with The River Fund, Global Giving and Uganda local government whose contribution has allowed us support over 600 OVC (orphans and other vulnerable children) with scholastic materials, School uniforms and sometimes meals at home.

It is my humble request that we may have resources available to allow our children have a better bright future and build a strong nation Uganda.

I give my sincere regards to all our donors at Global Giving, The River Fund, the Uganda government, local leaders and all well-wishers for supporting our cause of bringing hope to the vulnerable community particularly children and women.
