LIVING HOPE GROUP TORORO BUGIRI

TORORO UGANDA

TO: THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR              RIVER FUND USA

RE: REPORT SUBMISSION

 INTRODUCTION

Living Hope group is in Uganda in Tororo and Bugiri Districts which receives funds from the River Fund Foundation. Our goal is to support the education of at-risk children by supplying needed scholastic materials, school fees, and mentoring to encourage them to stay in school.

CHILDREN SERVED

Tororo - Primary 16 students, Secondary 9 students

Bugiri - Primary 20 students, Secondary 5 students

ACHIEVEMENTS

As Living Hope group members, our children have benefited in many ways. From the time of funding the following are the achievements;

- We were able to buy for the children books, pens, pencils and geometrical sets

- Uniforms were given to all children

- Mentoring of the children has been done very well and the children are responding to them openly.

CHALLENGES

During the distribution of funds there were no big challenges faced other than there is lack of office accessories like computers that can help in writing reports and submitting them in time

We could not fulfill the planned budget because we didn’t receive enough funds and this caused omission of some of the children’s school requirements

RECOMMENDATION

As Living Hope Tororo and Bugiri we do request that if possible we get extra funds to buy office requirements to ease work in support for the children.

CONCLUSION

We are so grateful to the sponsors for the great work they are doing. Because of them our children are comfortable and supported in schools and will have a better future.

Thank you so much for your cooperation in supporting our children, may you be blessed abundantly.
