EDUCATION
This is our term three of children’s learning and all our children are at school from nursery level to university level. The system is normal and there is no distance at all, learning is smooth in its normal ways.
We are worried because of Ebola has dropped in, we pray for survival for everybody.
SCHOLASTIC MATERIALS
These are given out at the beginning of every term of learning. We are looking forward to giving out at the beginning of 2023 in case funds are realized in all our four groups.
UNIFORMS
We give out uniforms only once a year and only in terms one of the year when the school open, we make sure our children are dressed smartly.
FEEDING AT SCHOOL
Whenever funds are realized from our donors, food is provided to our children to take to school. We give out food for two terms. So that in term three we given, to the very needy and some parents provide this is from seeds planted in season one. We have faced it rough because the season has been poor.
We gave out some beans and maize as we received funds in August.
FEEDING AT HOME.
Children who stay with their grandmother (these are the old women) feed at home and at school too as we provide for both.
HEALTH CARE (HIV/AIDS)
Our children keep healthy through diets and medical care because there are those HIV/Aids positive. We care for them and make sure their clinic days are in their right system and take their drugs in time a long with counseling them.
Long term survival skills are very much practiced here to make sure there is self awareness to avoid stress and stigma.
CENTRE SCHOOL
There is a big courage that they are maintained because sometimes old women also come to these places to get break and Lunch.
SCHOOL DROPOUT / GIRL CHILD
We always refer these youth to PEFO and other project organization and some of them are young mothers. We pay for their small needs as the project provides.
The counselors of every group keep in touch with them to prepare them for better future.
FEES TOP UP
There is always top up of fees for the children who are very needy especially at secondary level and university levels for their demands are high so whenever we receive funds we preserve for these needy.
CHILD DAY
Here children learn from their friends because children from different schools come together, eat together and play together. We are having it this term.
DEVELOPMENT
There is good amount of rain, we pray it continues.
We have had smooth time of learning of our children there has been no breaking down of learning, we are very happy.
Seed planted are doing well.
CHALLENGES
There has been a long drought from May to end of July which caused lack of food, and parents faced it rough to feed themselves and their children.
SUGGESTIONS
In, case there is a realization of funds, uniforms, scholastic materials and food be given out in time as early as January 2023.
