Education

There has been no smooth running and learning of our children due to Covid-19 learning is now in shifts and it is a problem to children, parents and teachers. School is open for Senior Four and Five, P.7 and P.6 and those completing University. Others classes like P.5, P.3, P.4, P.2, P.1 and others like S.2, S.3, university will come later.

 We cannot judge the progress of learning of our children. This is not easy.

Feeding children at school

It is a big problem. We have not started giving food to those at school who are starting and those journey in March also there is not food at all. We are looking forward to giving them food in the nearest future in case funds are realized.

Feeding children at Home

It is a very big problem for these children and our problem too, the food left is very little and we are very much worried on this facility.

Child headed families

These children depend on the project food if the funds are not there, there is great suffering for these families indeed life is hard for them right now.

Scholastic materials

We have had a problem during Covid-19. There is need to supply to our children these materials

Uniforms

Before Covid-19, there was smooth supply of uniforms. No sooner that uniforms had been supplied than Covid-19 dropped in, we are not supplying uniform this year.

Fees top

There is need for fees top up this year in case funds are realized.

Health HIV/Aids

We continue to keep our children healthy through balanced diet counseling encouraging them to take drugs from their centres in time as directed by the physician.

Centre schools

These are on and off due to Covid-19. We are scared but we pray for the levels needed.

School drop out

These may be many when we come to scrutinize our children and still care for those registered.

Referrals

Those referred are there in PEFO and other places at this time they cannot be referred since some places are not open yet.

Developments

Some classes of schools have been opened though not fully to cater for all classes.

Some classes will soon do promotion examinations.

Challenges

Food for children is not there to be given to them.

Scholastic materials have not yet available for the learners and there is need to be given out to the children in case funds are realized.

Suggestion

In case funds are realized let there be giving to children scholastic materials.

Food too is a big concern for proper learning of children and well-being and not forgetting even the child headed families’ need food
