Education:
We make sure that our children go to school at different levels; nursery, primary, secondary, technical and or university.
Performance:
Our children’s performance at school is above average and promising to many of the children.
Feeding at school:
There are those children who are very needy. Each group has to see to it that they are fed so we provide the food for them. We manage through funds from donors through The River Fund and GlobalGiving.
Scholastic Materials:
Each year scholastic materials are provided to the children and we have already made it because we received funds in time before school term 1 began 2018.
Uniforms:
We provide uniforms to our children every beginning of the year when funds are realized. They have received them for 2018.
Fee top up:
We provide fees and fees top up for those very needy.
We have high fees for university children and we have two of them at the university level, a young woman and a young man.
Health care HIV/AIDS:
Our children look healthy.
The members are well informed of the long term survival skills. They get counseling and guidance for both girls and boys.
Health kits trainings are done for girls.
HIV/AIDS
The children who are positive are assisted to take their drugs on time. In April we provided septrine because it is not at the centres where ARV’s are provided.
We received funds and for three months and we are providing them with septrine. These funds were received in April through River Fund.
Developments:
Our children go to school and standards of learning have improved greatly. We care for them, fully providing their basic needs.
Scholastic materials and uniforms have been provided early.
Good holiday period and there is enough rain therefore the weather is good. The children enjoyed the holidays and are now back in school.
Our children have their septrine at hand.
Our children are healthy and smart due to good feeding and proper health care.
Challenges:
Although drugs like septrine and other items are provided, the challenge of how to pay for transport to health centres prevails and also outings for young people to meet friends is hard.
Suggestions:
Transport should be provided for the children.
God bless you in your endeavors.
Thank you.
